When you leave a comment on MADSHOP, we collect what’s on the comment form, plus your IP address and browser details – helps us keep out the spam bots. If you use Gravatar, your anonymised email hash might check for a profile pic (see their privacy policy). Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will show alongside.

Media

Uploading pics? Avoid adding location info (like hidden GPS data) – anyone can download it. Best keep the mystery, eh?

Leave a comment on our site? You can save your name, email, and website in cookies to make things easy for next time. These cookies last for a year.

Logging in? We’ll set a few cookies to remember your login and your display choices. Login cookies last two days; display preference cookies last a year. Click “Remember Me” and your login sticks around for two weeks. Log out, and they’re gone.

If you’ve got an account or have left comments, you can ask for an exported file of your personal data, or tell us to erase it (except the bits we need to keep for admin or legal reasons).
